My name is Alex Blackman, a passionate and published military aviation photographer based in West Suffolk, United Kingdom. Located nearby RAF Lakenheath (EGUL) and RAF Mildenhall (EGUN).

For over four years, I have dedicated my photography to capturing the power, precision, and unique character of military aviation. Living close to some of the UK’s most active airbases has allowed me to document a wide variety of aircraft and operations, producing images that have been shared with pilots, squadrons, alongside published media in popular aviation magazines such as AirForcesMonthly

My portfolio features aircraft photographed across several historic bases including RAF Lakenheath, home of the 48th Fighter Wing, RAF Mildenhall, home to the 100th Air Refuelling Wing and 67th Special Operations Squadron, as well as RAF Wattisham, home of the Army Air Corps.

Through my work, I aim to showcase the incredible aircraft and the people who operate them, capturing moments of aviation history as they happen.
